on the shore of the river
and the cool, clear, waters
tumbled down
cascading in hues
of blues and greens.
visions of yesters colliding
with stalwart rocks of truth.
burrowing ceaselessly, gently
at the loam of life.
mighty forces are gathered,
pitched and tossed,
whirling dervish like.
winds howling, spray dancing
across virgin land.
quenching the earth,
flora and fauna blossoming
amidst the skirmish.
on and on relentless in their quest,

Near my heart, but you were not there for you to save me.
Steeped aside a ridge, I felt your breath return in my ears
To prove myself worthy a love on terra firma and it’s tears.

Snow has whitened the fall of soot I saw in your eyes [...]

In the shining light of ecstasy with your soul laid bare to see
You’ll raise your hands to touch the sun

Of kiss and bite and touch and tell
Of jiving with the moon

standing in the shadow
of lifes past nuances

I stare into a

like the gulf stream
spreading condescension
on a an acquiescent earth
I, a mere bit player
on the sidelines of a soap
and I see the tone

feel the touch

enhances my mind

The Gift
Something came rumbling down the chimney
There was a hell of a din from the flue
The night was already on fire
We just didn’t know what to do.
The soot went all over the carpet
There was an awful mess on the wall
As everyone gathered and gazed
We all stood aghast at the fall.
The reindeer came down first

the world suddenly slides
into an over-night bag
soundproofed against

seeking the soothing

seizing and warping the very bones
of comforts laid in store
from
attachments
and
dalliances
premature hopes
and
untimely liaisons
smashing dreams into a thousand pieces
