I need your words tonight

I need your words tonight

standing in the shadow
of lifes past nuances
and ambiguities
I stare into a
mayhem of meanderings
like the gulf stream
spreading condescension
on a an acquiescent earth
I, a mere bit player
on the sidelines of a soap
and I see the tone
of your being
feel the touch
of your tantalising fingers
as your warmth engulfs me
enhances my mind
and takes me
to my craved Valhalla
as I cry into a wind of woe

I need your words tonight
