2009 SHORT FILM SCRIPT ENTRY

Here it is, what you’ve all been waiting for. I know, I know, it’s taken a little bit of time, but, well, these things need discussion, pushing and pulling about, and tactile infusion when things get a little bit rough. However, I digress, here we are:  2009 Scribblepool Short Film Entry.

Dawn and myself have come up with a few idea’s to kick it all off as it were, and these are the guidelines. Please submit your script under a pseudonym or a  name of sorts. Please no swearing.Your own name will not help here! And you can’t steal another members name from the group no matter how talented I am. *cough* .Try something new like Ponsonby Kleinenhosen, only that’s out of use for you guys as it’s already a consideration on my list, so there! Deadline for a script entry is 24th June 2009. We have to have a bit of time to look at scripts closely, make a choice, and count the votes from the Brazilian jury (not the bikini type you understand!)

There will need to be a week of preparation of the chosen script and for production week, for those of you in the know, and those who don’t, but do now. I am going to add also that the script chosen this time round does not mean that your submitted script will not be used for future filming projects. Oh no, if we like the filming project so much; who says we should stop there? Oh no (did I repeat that?!).We will just keep going and produce other scripts entered in other filming projects. We will like them all but someone has to be first you see.

Dawn’s and Ed’s decision btw will be final, no discussion entered into (well, maybe a few words from myself if a complimentary packet of sherbo dab is on offer and a plastic mac, but don’t tell Dawn I said that). Have a great time entering. Good luck to everyone. I declare this script writing thingy thingy thingy open (did I repeat myself again!).

  1. Well said Ed, and thanks for posting this.

Anyone who doesn’t know my email, although I think they can see it, its savin_me@hotmail.com

I will post the scripts then under the chosen name.

    Good luck all.

    Dawn
